Beautiful, healing, fascinating… Crystals have long been celebrated for their beauty and luster. The elaborate crystal chandeliers that decorate many fine homes, magnificent diamonds that adorn our jewelry testify to that. We celebrate crystals for their beauty, of course, but there are much more than what a simple sparkly stone!
Since ancient times, crystals have been used worldwide to improve mood and restore balance in the body and mind. Today, alternative medicine maintains that the art of crystal healing move into the mainstream.
How crystal healing works
Crystals take thousands of years to form. Because of their density, their components and how it formed, each crystal has a specific resonance. According to quantum physics, humans are vibrational energetic beings, just like crystals. When a crystal comes in contact with a person that is energetically out of resonance, the crystal reminds the body how to vibrate perfectly and become balanced.
To benefit from crystals, you can use them in jewelleries, in meditation or in a Lithotherapy session. Lithotherapy is a branch of alternative medicine. It uses the virtues and energy forces of stones and minerals to help patients restore balance to their physical, emotional, mental and spiritual body. The therapist places the crystals on different part of the body, depending of the need of the patient. Lithotherapy also helps in chakra harmonization, since every crystal has a different chakra association, depending on their different energetic resonance.
How to choose your crystals
